Today officially marks one year since my first edit on Wikifashion. Time flys when you're having fun. I can't believe our project is a year old, so many things have happened that I didn't expect and things I did expect, didn't happen. That's the way things go I'm afraid, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I look forward to building the community around the site and creating something akin to Wikipedia for fashion. Dream Dream Dream.

Have a very wiki birthday!

Congratulations... The site looks extremely professional. Just something I am curious about, is there any risk that you will come across Copyright issues with Wikipedia?

ReplyDeleteanon- thank you :) Wikifashion uses the same software (mediawiki) as wikipedia, which is open source. The term "wiki" is a generic name, just like the term "blog". There are many other wikis- wikinvest, wiktionary, wikibooks etc :)
