Bedtime Stories...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

In order to really switch off for the day, it's so important for me to read for awhile before I hit the hay. These are the books I'm currently working my way through. As you can see, I'm terrible at sticking with just one book. I'll usually choose which one I want to read according to my the moment I'm reading Murakami's and the Google book.

What type of reader are you? Do you stick the book out or start another at the same time?

I hope you are all having lovely weekends, it's considerably glum here in Brisbane.

  1. I can only ever read one book at a time, and I can never let a book go without finishing it!

  2. If its a new book, I tend to devour it like a starving man devouring a meal LOL. But with books I've read before, the ones I love, that become like old familiar friends, I can pick them up and dive in at any point, start halfway through, skip back to the start, read my favourite parts over and over. And I definitely will be reading several at the same time.
Btw, I absolutely love Female Chauvinist Pigs, its brilliant! x

  3. The Book Thief is incredible!

  4. I have been wanting to read the Carrie Diaries forever!! I am going to buy it today! Just found your blog, loving it so far :)

  5. Jessica I really wish I were like that! As my old boss would tell me I have the attention span of a gold fish haha I'm trying though :)

Thanks for the tip Kittycate, I've tried reading it but I find it brings out this ultra angry feminist alter ego and I had to stop reading it lol..

    Thanks Lynzy.

  6. hey there, thanks for adding me to wikifashion!

what's the book at the bottom of the pile about? the title sounds promising ;)

  7. Love the wind-up bird chronicles GREAT GREAT choice.

    Murakami = <3.

  8. Oh I love Haruki Murakami!
I try to focus on one book, maybe two :)

  9. i often juggle a few and give up on some of them and then keep some.. loved the book thief (:

  10. I wish I could dedicate more time to reading.
Once I start I'm into it but I rarely pick up the book.
Easier to pick up the laptop :)

The Lauren Conrad books are my guilty pleasure and I cant wait for book 3 to come out.
    Oh the shame!!
