Good question! I was sick of trying to keep track of fashion events that happen during the year. I always miss something or another and kick myself later for not having ben first to lay eyes on the gorgeous gowns during awards season.
So to make things a little easier for the fashion blogosphere, I've created a comprehensive list on Wikifashion for all of the events in 2010. If there is anything missing, feel free to edit it! Don't know how? Pop a comment in the box below and I would be more than happy to help out. If you love this list, it would be great for you to spread the word on your blogs, or simply add to it as you find out about events throughout the year.
What a great idea, I will definitely use this as a resource. Love your blog by the way. This is my first visit, I found you via Cupcakes and Cashmere. XX Niki

You're welcome Cotton :)
Hi Lola, I found your blog through a comment on Mae's blog saying you studied economics! I did too, so naturally I was drawn to your blog.
ReplyDeleteI have an intense curiosity for things like marketing and communication, and I love thinking about human behaviour and perception, especially when it's relevant to business!
One of my favourite blogs is Seth Godin's (http://sethgodin.typepad.com). He has some very insightful comments to make in his succinct, captivating and rewarding posts. You might like it if you're into PR!
I love the idea of Wikifashion! I'm also into online entrepreneurship and leveraging the Web 2.0 world!
Best wishes,
Collin
That's such a good idea, thanks for making it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Collin, I'll definitely have a look at that blog :) What is it that you do?
ReplyDeleteThanks annoiii, you're welcome :)
That's a great idea! It will be very helpful. I love how you'r also included award and festivals where fashion is always such a focus but not solely devoted to it.
ReplyDeleteThanks A :)
ReplyDeleteHey Lola, I do a few things related to VCE. I've been in the business of tutoring and coaching VCE kids for 3 years now, but more relevant to online entrepreneurship is that I run a website for them. It's called Merspi (merspi.com) - questions and answers for VCE students.
ReplyDeleteIt sits in a similar family of sites (very "Web 2.0"?) as yours, as it's kind of like a message board but with a focus on editing within the community (like Wikipedia). It's useful how the best questions/answers can be organised by votes (like in YouTube/Digg).
This is such a great idea, I'll definitely be using this :)
